Who in their right mind would send their DNA to total strangers? It is becoming clear that the future of Personal Identity is Biometrics. The antiquated system we have now is a disaster and needs to be replaced. Soon, people could be using their unique DNA coding to purchase something as simple as a soda from a vending machine. Considering the prevalence of Identity Theft, why would anyone send their most precious source of identity to people they don't know? In my novel, Death Songs, Dominic Rhodes makes that mistake and ends up paying a hefty price. In the book you will also meet Kevin Hunter, an IT specialist who is also an Internet Troll. For those unfamiliar with what Internet Trolls do, suffice it to say, they are the ones responsible for making it increasingly difficult to have a civilized discussion on social media. They have lowered the level of discourse to that of ad hominem attacks and flat out insults. It is very easy to agree that most people hate internet trolls, but most people would also admit that they don't know any. Although most of the Trolls out there are happily anonymous, Kevin's Trolling activities are not as anonymous as he had thought. What started as a simple way to make a buck, makes Kevin's the target of an even more dangerous internet predator. And lastly, you get to know Caroline Martinson, a pretty, newly divorced professional woman who is encouraged by her close friend to sign up for the online dating app, Tinder. She tries out the app in hopes of rediscovering herself and meeting new people. Unfortunately, swiping right can lead to meeting Mr. Wrong.
