Struggling for over forty years with anxiety, depression, nightmares, I was too stubborn to seek help. I thought that it would go away or that I could do it all on my own. At times thinking I was losing it or going crazy. Fighting a fight that no one really knew about because I always wore a smile on my face and was always there for anyone who needed me. But when I needed someone to talk to, I felt alone and abandoned. But as time went on, it became worse. It seemed that every-time I turned around, more trauma would enter my life and I couldn't deal with it anymore. I am a Complex PTSD Survivor, diagnosed in 2013. I share my personal journey and what led to my diagnosis and what finally brought me to seek help.
